The next fix was unexpectedly fiddly. Swapping a faulty Xbox One Disk Drive for a new one. I didn’t realise at the time that you had to swap the circuit board inside the disk drive, which involves soldering two wires onto the board. Thankfully I persevered and got the disk drive working again 🙂
A special guest appearance from Fearne in this video too, who helped to put the Xbox back together, and stayed away from the Soldering Iron when I was briefly using it.
