What is Live Streaming?
Live streaming is essentially live TV for social networks. What better way to engage with people than allowing them to be part of something from the comfort of their own device. Live streaming is great if you have an event coming up and want to allow people who can't come to still experience the fun. You could set up recording equipment next to a big event, and stream it live on Facebook so that people never miss a moment. Live streaming can be achieved with a modern smart phone and a good data connection to the internet. The Legend of Skippy can provide this equipment, along with our specialist filming equipment, and be there to record your occasions for the world to see.
What do I get for my Live Streaming Service?
A maximum of 90 minutes of footage from as little as £50. This footage can either be one continuous shot or if you prefer various activities or events to be streamed, the equipment can be quite easily moved around. Battery life on video streaming equipment allows it to last for around 90 minutes of footage. The footage will be streamed directly on a Facebook page, profile or group you manage and will remain accessible once the live stream is over. During the streaming viewers will be able to watch it, post and view comments, and share emoticons with others. It is a great way for people to share content on Facebook and to interact with others.
What Happens After the Live Stream is Over?
The Legend of Skippy has a dedicated YouTube channel that we use to record all videos we are involved in. We will upload the video to YouTube and share it with you so that you have a record of the event for all eternity. If you prefer the video to be tweaked (eg just the highlights) we can also edit the video to meet your requirements. A video is a fantastic way of engaging with people, so not only do you get the benefit of an instant live stream, you also get a video that people can go back to and watch in their own time. It is the best of both worlds!
